I am not alone with our members who regularly seek an update on Dave's progress. He has been such a support for our activities over many years and now it is our time to offer support to Dave. If there is anything which you think we can do to help DO NOT HESITATE to ask. He (and you Lucy, although we have never knowingly met) are constantly in our thoughts. At this difficult time, it is good to see the support you are getiing from all those who know Dave.

It's 12.30am here in Aus, and I managed to get through the day, somehow holding myself together for the most of it. But when it comes to going to sleep, well that's a different story. You're being so strong and fighting so hard. I wish you could see how much love you have behind you. These messages of support, I read them every night. They make me so proud of you to see how loved you are. It's hard to sleep at night, knowing that you're so far away, I wish more than anything I could hold your hand through this. But on a brighter note , I've been going through so many of our photos, and they mainly are made up of photos in Santa Cat full of happy memories, but... This is my favourite! Love you x

Hey Dad I've tried to write on here for the last couple of days. But I can never find the right words to say. You have so much still to give, and so many people behind you, I hope you can feel the sheer amount of love and positive energy being sent to you. I made a promise to the kids that we would take them to Santa Cat, and every time I imagined it, you were there. We need to show them our favourite place together. Joel loves you so much, I showed him a picture of you and him playing the piano, and now he wants me to teach him, little does he know I didn't pick up the same musical talents as you 😄! Little miss Lara has grown into a full on Sass Queen and I know on our next visit home she would make you laugh every day. Lucy, Madi, Jp and Uncle Huw (and the rest of my Dad's family and friends), keep being as strong as you are, I'm sure Dad is so immensely proud of you too! Dad, We are so very proud of the fight you are putting up. I love you with my whole heart and more. Xxx

David, we are all thinking of you every minute of the day. You are in our hearts and thoughts constantly. We have been listening to your band music lots, Ella has been bouncing away to it and will grow up having excellent music taste thanks to her Pops (& the very best music teacher too)! I know Jonny is missing your weekly catch-ups. He always comes home from work beaming after speaking with you- he thinks the absolute world of you. We all do. Ella is the luckiest girl to have the best pops in the universe. We all love you so very very much. Keep fighting, you are so strong and we are all here waiting for you. Lucy, we are here for you too. You have been amazing and have shown amazing strength. P.S. here is a pic of Ella in the outfit you bought her- she’s had a lot of compliments today! I am pretty sure it’s her favourite outfit yet. We love you so much xxxxxx

Hi Lucy, it’s Charlie here, Sam’s brother. It must be a difficult, difficult time for you but there are so many people thinking of you and supporting you. David, hang in there, we have had so much fun over the years. I am so pleased that we could have a laugh together at JP and Gemma’s wedding and look forward to many more in the future.
