Hi Shirley, just wanted to say hello. I’ve been thinking about you and just wanted to let you know I should be in Westcliff next week and would love to say hello to you in person. Hi Shirley, I've been thinking about you and your family and wanted to say hello and see how you are all doing. This week the rain has returned for the first time in weeks. You'd think we'd never seen rain before but we've all been talking about how wonderful it is and standing out in it! The air has smelt wonderful and fresh. Hot flushes during a heatwave have not been fun so it's a welcome relief! The other lovely scent recently has been that of the sweet, ripening blackberries. The best ones seem to be behind fences, next to railway lines or way up high out of reach. I'm picking and eating what I can and freezing some for some cosy winter crumbles. I'm hoping the summer weather does last us a bit longer and not disappear as soon as the kids go back to school! Sending love and big hugs, Maxine xxx

Hi Shirley, It's been ages and I must admit I'm missing your visits. With life getting back to "normal" such as no PPE in the clinic, no pre screening etc and people back to busy social lives, holidays and the usual stresses they entail the one normal thing missing is your visits to the Barn, our chats and your positivity you always brought with you. I've tried to step out and opened up my own treatment rooms closer to home I would have loved your feedback on it all. It's been a journey and a great learning curve lol. Don't worry,M still at Barn Mews. When you're up to a viiamd if I'm allowed to I'd love to come and give you some treatment, just to spoil you a little. Remember you're always in our thoughts and in my prayers. Sending you all my love and blessings from the Almighty. Love Norma

Hi Shirley, how are you doing? I thought I’d just message you until you are ok about me visiting you - hope you don’t mind. So, last time I wasn’t working and now I only tend to do jobs for a few days because my husbands eye sight is really bad he is now registered as severely partially sighted , but we are coping well. I’m making sure we don’t make things a big deal. I’ve just finished invigilating at my sons old school so that’s all over. Now I’m struggling with the heat!!! I know I shouldn’t complain but 24 degrees is too much for me. It tires me out! A little news on my side - Charlotte is working and living in London and Luke is working in London and still living at home. How are your girls. Waiting to see you hopefully soon beautiful lady . Hi Shirley! Today I spoke to my daughter Charlotte who you may remember did her first holy communion with Joelle. She gave me the news about you . I feel very sad and upset at the struggle you’ve had. I know what a loving caring family you have and I’m sorry I left it so long to get in touch I blame Covid but really that’s no excuse. I would really like to come and see you yo say hello and just let you know I am thinking of you and your whole family. I’m no good at this as just the news has made me very emotional. So, apologies if I’ve not expressed myself properly. I understand if you don’t want visitors but if ever you feel you would it would me happy to come to see you. Lots of love Delilah x

Hi Shirley, I was happy to hear you're settling in well into your new accommodation. I was even happier to hear you're able to receive more visitors. I can't believe how long your hair has grown! The Barn misses you, I miss our chats and must say thanks to Joelle who has been amazing listening to my chit chat about the latest TV programs and tasty treats, she's a mini you. It would be lovely to pay you a visit when the time is right. As always my prayer group and family say a little prayer for you and your lovely family when we meet up.
