Bobby, Carolyn and Family - You've got our thoughts and prayers over here in Utah. Carolyn! You are the brightest woman I know. It's hard to know what words to say right now but I am holding you in my heart with so much love and belief. We shared something so fun and yet so sacred all those years ago in Notting Hill and your light has stayed with me since then. So many things I learned from you as we'd teach or do companionship studying! I have never forgotten you teaching me about Luke 4:18-21: the way you helped me see the Savior not as a distant figure, but as *right here*, reading those words and saying "this is happening now. I am with you." ...you taught me how we could have the Savior not just as a promise but as an actual presence in our life. So I suppose my message right now as you face the unimaginable is = I still believe in the Master Healer. His comfort is still near. And believe miracles aren't just something of the past. You are a miracle in my life Carolyn! You are so brave. And so is your family. I'm praying and sending love from across the ocean - with all my heart, Leslie.
